Lola Muance is a creator of original luminescent sculptures exuding passion, poetry and playfulness.
Working with the raw materials of colour and light, the pieces are built in situ in urban spaces and vast landscapes, transfigured into adventure playgrounds within which the audience is welcome to wander and wonder.Spectacular in their size, their breadth, their depth, by day the installations exhale an intangible delicacy, whilst at night under the beams of the projectors, they reveal their sumptuous fluorescent brilliance.
Rigorous alignments of geometrical forms, infinite repetitions, wires, grids, screens, and cloths comprise the formal alphabet of Lola Muance; composing silent songs which engrave their indelible melodies on the memoy of the passer-by.
Lola Muance is an artist-manufacturer; in turn an ironworker, a carpenter, a painter... but forever a restless dreamer.
