Event Production

ArtsAgenda also work on a contractual basis as event producers for mid to large scale events. The services we provide include artistic programming, fundraising and financial management, full technical and production management, project management and administration and press and marketing support.

Since 2008 ArtsAgenda has produced Derby Festé, a new large scale, free festival in the City of Derby. Festé presents internationally acclaimed companies alongside local Derbyshire artists. In producing Festé, ArtsAgenda works closely with several of Derby’s key arts organisations: Déda, QUAD and Derby LIVE.

Artists

Establishing a clear and productive working relationship with an artist or company is central to what we do; therefore there is no fixed way of working. Our capacity allows us to work with a small number of core artists on a long-term basis as well as short-term project support and management, one-off consultancies and artist mentoring. We always propose an initial meeting – at no cost – and if relevant always try to see the work.

If you are an artist or a company interested in working with us, or you have an idea you would like to propose to ArtsAgenda, in the first instance we invite you to send an email or letter to Bettina and Lesley (the Co-Directors), including as much background information as possible.

Mentoring and consultancies

ArtsAgenda staff includes highly experienced, dynamic and creative producers. We offer mentoring and training programmes for new and emerging producers, either in-house or within another organisation. We also offer workshops and talks on the role of the creative producer and our own business model.
